The long-term success of a big project like the deep borehole well in Gonok takes the support and dedication of more than just Glimmer staff and our skilled partners. Before we start construction, we ensure that all the stakeholders are on board and committed.

Glimmer met with community members and the local government to solidify each stakeholder’s role and contribution. The community members will provide labor and supplies during construction, and agreed to a monthly financial contribution to maintain the well. The local government pledged to regularly check on the well, train the community and provide support for repairs when needed.
