Max's Water Campaign
My campaign is for a shallow borehole well in a village near the historical city of Gondar that I visited with my family when I was nine-years-old. Shallow borehole wells are expensive because they require a drilling rig to access the water that is more than 100 feet below the surface. My campaign is part of ATA’s campaign to raise enough money to drill another two shallow borehole wells and a classroom building at an elementary school in the same area near Gondar. I hope you will take the time to look at the pictures on my page and the video from my firsthand experiences in the rural parts of Ethiopia where Glimmer works. The best memory from my two-week trip with my family was getting to visit a well for which I raised money from my birthday campaign when I turned 8. The kids from the school where my well was located were so happy to have clean water and they welcomed me with so much joy that you can see in the pictures and the video. Water is life!
