Just a year after beginning construction, the health center is complete and serving the people of Tercha. Prior to this new facility, villagers lacked access to basic health services including care for common diseases like malaria and dysentery, which can become life-threatening without treatment. The new health center includes seven rooms, all furnished with new equipment and furniture, plus a latrine.
Soon we will begin our next phase of work, including water projects that will provide clean water for the community, new classrooms at a local school and a maternity ward at the local hospital. Stay tuned for more updates on these life-changing projects!
