The Tercha Hospital serves approximately half a million people from the surrounding areas, yet it lacks medical equipment and dedicated space for new mothers and children. This means that expectant moms, newborns and malnourished children – all vulnerable to infection – are admitted into an area alongside sick patients with highly contagious diseases.

When one of Glimmer’s dedicated supporters learned about the great need for a maternity ward, she took on the challenge to support this important project. We are immensely grateful to Kristen and her supporters for their commitment.
