We are excited to share that Glimmer recently completed construction on our first round of health, education and water projects in Senale!

The 38 new water projects and a deep borehole well now provide more than 15,000 community members in Senale with access to clean, safe drinking water. Clean water reduces diseases and allows more women to earn a living for their family.

Clean water also means that the opportunity for a good education is even better. Now more girls attend school because they don’t have to travel hours to fetch water for their families, and the bright new classroom buildings are great learning environments with new books, desks and chairs.

Finally, with two new health centers, preventive care and treatment is now available close to home in Senale. The slideshow to the left is full of images we have collected of the completed projects. Look through them and celebrate with us!
