Watching A Glimmer of Hope's impact in the world has been one of the main shaping forces in my life. I was fortunate to visit Ethiopia several times with the Berber family. Among many learnings, it became abundantly clear that a life of giving and positive impact, on any scale, makes the journey a much more fun and fulfilling one.

I am originally from Bogota, Colombia. Our family moved to Scottsdale, AZ, when I was 15 years old and I quickly moved to Austin, TX to follow my dreams of playing tennis at the highest level I could achieve. It was during this time in Austin that I was first introduced to the Berber family and A Glimmer of Hope.

Before joining Glimmer, I was fortunate to be a part of the University of Notre Dame’s endowment team. I am indebted to my friends and mentors at Notre Dame, as they inculcated in me a passion for investing, and opened my eyes to the power of compounding for a formidable cause.

I am delighted to be back in Austin and part of the Glimmer team. My focus as CIO is to continuously strengthen our ability to have a positive impact by investing and growing our endowment for many decades to come.
